FREE!  Saturday, January 27th at 6:15 PM.  Please check in at the Science Center.  Doors will open 15 minutes before we start.

If weather allows, Green Bank Observatory staff will treat you to views of the night sky! Dress warmly. The Science Center atrium will be open with hot cocoa available to warm you up. We will begin in the auditorium with an indoor tour of this month’s night sky before we head out to the telescope. Viewing will last for up to 2 hours, but please arrive within the first hour.

If clouds or rain prevail, we will have indoor activities available for the first hour. Check our Facebook page for updates.

Make an evening of it! Come early and enjoy dinner at our Starlight Café. Call ahead (304-456-2361) or stop by to get your order in before 5 PM. Pre-paid pizza orders can be picked up any time during the star party.
