The Earth and Space Science (ESS) Passport is an exciting, two-year professional development program for West Virginia teachers who are or who plan to teach Earth and Space Science– from the ninth grade course, down through the middle school grades.
Your journey starts with a two-week residential workshop at the Green Bank Observatory where you will participate in 3-day directed studies in astronomy, geology and meteorology!
ESS Passport is funded by a West Virginia Math/Science Partnership grant and is a collaboration of Fairmont State University, the Green Bank Observatory, and the NASA Teacher Resource Center.
All expenses paid. Room and Board covered. Stipend and course credit available.
